Dressings

Mango & Ginger Dressing

  • flesh of 1 mango
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger (powder or grated fresh)
  • pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup cold-pressed olive oil

Place all ingredients in a blender and whizz till very  smooth.

Orange & Ginger Dressing

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup orange juice freshly pressed
  • 2 tbsp tamari or coconut aminos
  • 1 tbsp orange zest or 1-2 drops essential oil (food grade)
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • 1 piece ginger peeled and grated (about 2 cm length)
  • pinch good salt
  • 1 tbsp xylitol or other sweetening (date paste or raw honey)

Place all ingredients in a blender and whizz till smooth.

 

Creamy Spicy Dressing

  • 2.5 cups orange juice
  • 2 cups sunflower seeds (soaked 2 hours)
  • 1/2 onion or 1 spring onion
  • skin from 1/2 lemon chopped
  • 8 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 tsp curry powder

Place all ingredients in a blender and whizz till smooth
